अमेरिकी अखबार ने की मोदी की तारीफ, कहा- पाकिस्तान 'अछूत' देश बन कर रह जाएगा
उड़ी हमले के बाद पाकिस्तान के अड़ियल रवैये की आलोचना पूरी दुनिया में हो रही है। अब एक अमेरिकी अखबार ने लिखा है कि भारत के कड़े रुख और संयम को पाकिस्तान लंबे समय तक हलके में नहीं ले सकता और अगर पाकिस्तान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के सहयोग के प्रस्ताव को खारिज करता है तो वह पूरी दुनिया के लिए एक 'अछूत देश' बन कर रह जाएगा।
अमेरिकी अखबार वॉल स्ट्रीट जर्नल ने मंगलवार को अपने एक लेख में कहा, 'मोदी फिलहाल पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ कड़ा रुख अपनाए हुए हैं और यह आगे भी जारी रहा तो पाकिस्तान के लिए मुश्किलें खड़ी हो सकती हैं। अगर मोदी के सहयोग के प्रस्ताव को खारिज किया जाता है तो दुनिया के लिए पहले से अछूत पाकिस्तान, अब और अछूत देश बन जाएगा।' लेख में चेतावनी भरे लहजे में गया है, 'अगर पाकिस्तानी सेना ने सीमा पर से भारत में हथियार और आतंकवादी भेजना जारी रखा तो भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री का रुख बिल्कुल न्यायसंगत होगा।' वॉल स्ट्रीट जर्नल ने कहा है कि आतंकवाद के मुद्दे पर भारत का रुख हमेशा से उच्च नैतिक मापदंडों पर खरा रहा है पर पिछली कांग्रेस और बीजेपी की सरकारें इसे स्पष्ट रूप से कभी सख्ती से लागू नहीं कर पाईं। सैन्य कार्रवाई न करने के प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के फैसले की तारीफ करते हुए अखबार ने लिखा, 'मोदी ने सैन्य कार्रवाई के खतरों को समझते हुए, पाकिस्तान को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अलग-थलग करने का फैसला किया। वह 1960 का सिंधु जल समझौता रद्द करने पर विचार कर रह हैं। साथ ही वह पाकिस्तान को 1996 में दिए गए मोस्ट फेवर्ड नेशन के दर्जे को भी छीन सकते हैं क्योंकि पाकिस्तान ने अभी तक भारत को यह दर्जा नहीं दिया है।' आपको बता दें कि यह लेख स्टिमन सेंटर के साउथ एशिया प्रोग्राम के डिप्टी डायरेक्टर समीर ललवानी ने लिखा है। लेख में उन्होंने कहा है कि उड़ी हमले के बाद भारत के लोगों का गुस्सा और नेताओं की रणनीति देखकर लग रहा है कि किसी बड़ी सैन्य कार्रवाई की पृष्ठभूमि तैयार हो रही है।................Tanmay Modh

SAARC Summit in Islamabad
Bangladesh has communicated its inability to attend to current SAARC chair Nepal, saying, "The growing interference in the internal affairs of Bangladesh by one country has created an environment which is not conducive to the successful hosting of the 19th SAARC Summit in Islamabad in November 2016."
Bhutan too re-affirmed its commitment to regional cooperation but said the recent escalation of terrorism in the region has "seriously compromised the environment for the successful holding" of the SAARC summit in Islamabad.
"The Royal Government of Bhutan shares the concerns of some of the member countries of SAARC on the deterioration of regional peace and security due to terrorism and joins them in conveying our inability to participate in the SAARC Summit, under the current circumstances," it said
In a terse statement Afghanistan said, "Due to the increased level of violence and fighting as a result of imposed terrorism on Afghanistan, the President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani with his responsibilities as the Commander in Chief will be fully engaged, and will not be able to attend the Summit."
