Seizure of Rs.100 crores Banned Notes, Cause Worry to Ex Politicians.

Rs 100 crores worth of 500 and 1,000 notes, which were demonetized by the government in November 2016 were seized. These banned notes worth crores made up a "bed" of cash when stacked up, has been found at a house in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The police had already counted Rs  97 crore before the big find surfaced in the media.The police named the owner of the house as Ashok Khatri, who has a money exchange business. 

The police refused to give the names of those arrested. “We are looking if there was any involvement of government officers,” police sources told PTI. Another officer said the raid was conducted in Seesamau pocket of Kanpur and some people were detained from a hotel in Swaroop Nagar pocket.

नोटबंदी हुए एक साल से उपर हो गया, लेकिन आज भी बट्टे पर पुराने नोट बदले जा रहे हैं। नोट जिन लोगों ने खरीदा है वो कोई विस्तर पर सजाने के लिए तो खरीदा नहीं होगा। उसे बैंक- आरबीआई में जमा हो जाने का भरोसा या आश्वासन मिला होगा तभी उसने इतने पुराने नोटों की खरीददारी किया है।तो क्या समझें, भारत सरकार, वित्त मंत्रालय, आरबीआई, बैंकिंग सिस्टम आदि सब फेल हो चुका है?
